SO!  We went to see Ingrid Michaelson last night at the Queen (the grand opening).  Before the concert, I loved her voice, but there is really no way to appreciate her voice other than "live".   Amazing!

I felt awful today and really didn't want to go, but I'm so glad we did!  It was a concert that was good for the soul.

So... I don't know if I brought on the rain or if the weather reports have put "rain" in my head, but I've had 3 days of rain songs - with no rain - until today.

I woke up to the sound of thunder this morning - that deep rumbly thunder that rolls across the sky.  My grandmother used to tell me that was the sound of the rain wagons rolling across the clouds and when they got to the edge of the cloud, they would dump the rain over the edge.

Maybe that's why I love these rainy, stormy mornings so much.  They always remind me of my grandmother.
